The Process

To accomplish the tasks of this WebQuest, follow these directions:

First... you will be researching the creator of the classification system and making a "TIME: Scientist of the Year" cover about him!

Next... defining various important classification vocabulary on a Word Document and exploring the classification process of different animals

Then... you will be picking an animal to classify and find it's scientific name! In addition to that, you will be researching and create a poster about that animal!

Next... you will be working with a group of three! With your group, you will be creating a new animal to classify and find it's scientific name! In addition to that, you will be working with your group to research and create a poster about that animal! Within the group, there will be different roles!

After that... you will be figuring out several dichotomous keys

Finally...you will be playing interactive classification games
