CREATE YOUR OWN FOOD CHAIN! 

 

Before you begin to create your food chain. Please plan out your food chain first using the pictures that you were given of various living things on index cards. As you already know, the index cards will include producers, consumers (herbivores, carnivores, and omnivores), and decomposers. Remember, you were also given blank index cards to include in your food chain.

 

You will be able to determine the correct order of your own food chain through the videos, worksheet, and educational games. You now have the opportunity to create your own food chain by using the many different living organisms on the various index cards.

 

Please remember to label each of the organisms and include arrows between each organism to show the transfer of energy! 

 

Don't forget to start your food chain with the sun and end your food chain with a decomposer. Make sure to double check your work before you print!
